With the release of Guardians of the Galaxy’s first trailer last week, we kinda forgot all about (briefly) one of the other superhero movies coming out this summer: X-Men: Days of Future Past. A French website aims to change that with a bunch of new shots from the film, including a snap of Quicksilver played by Evan Peters. That’s no  big deal, right? But there are bigger questions that a couple of the photos raise, like the sight of a certain girl with Quicksilver… You know who we’re talking about.

Let’s take a look at this picture:

The caption reads “Scarlet Witch,” AKA: Quicksilver’s supposedly twin sister. This would be quite the bold departure and would certainly be one way for DOFP to separate itself from Avengers: Age of Ultron, the other film that will use Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch as characters. But why a grown-up Quicksilver and a kid-sister Scarlet Witch? It’s intriguing, and I can only assume that Quicksilver is more significant to the plot in some way than his now little sister. By that way, has anyone else pointed out that Kick-Ass co-stars Peters and Aaron Taylor-Johnson are both playing Quicksilver? Interesting.

Anyway, the website had some other interesting visual insights into the film. For example, here’s, what I believe, is our first look at Toad played by Evan Jonigkeit:

Here’s a character think we’ve already seen, but it’s a cool shot nonetheless. Blink and you’ll miss Bingbing Fan throwing stuff…

And here’s Alex Summers AKA: Havok (Lucas Till), in an army uniform for some reason:

Speaking of uniforms, here’s a shot of the young William Stryker (Josh Helman) overseeing the work of Boliver Trask (Peter Dinklage).

Finally, for kicks, here’s a couple of new shots of Jennifer Lawrence playing two of the many faces of Mystique.

You can seem more pictures at the website, Les Toiles Heroiques. Days of Future Past is in theaters on May 23.
