Stop-Motion movies are few and far between these days and I think it’s a shame. They are often fun, wildly imaginative and command artistic appreciation. Eh, maybe the infrequency of Stop-Motion movies makes it that more special when something new comes out. So maybe that’s why I’m excited as fuck for ParaNorman. The zombies may have helped too. I fucking love zombies!
ParaNorman is new stop-motion film from the brilliant minds at Laika (the folks behind Coraline). In a nutshell, zombie-obsessed Norman (voiced by Kodi Smit-McPhee) can see and speak to the dead, including his grandmother. But when an ancient curse awakens a pack of pissed-off zombies, it’s up to ghost whisperer Norman to rally his Goonies-esque band of misfits.

Me Gusta seeing stop-motion being used to make feature length films again.
