The Interwebz is a great place for nerdy art and the like. A lot of the time it’s fuckin’ weird shit like unicorn bukkake, incest amongst the Fantastic Four, homoerotic He-man and shit like that. But there are a lot of awesome things that we see on a daily basis, and we’re lazy nerd bastards so we just round them all up once a week for your nerdgasm glory.

The Chat Noir poster was originally meant as way to get people to come to the cabaret back in 19th century Paris, but that big black cat never really screamed “sex appeal”. Now, replace that cat with a sexy Catwoman and that’d make anyone want to go out and be “entertained”.

There’s no better way to say “nerd” then getting a tattoo of Star Wars Jedi Master Yoda on your leg. Cool thing about this tattoo (done by Hernan Carreño of Buin, Chile) is if he grows back a portion of his leg hair Yoda will have some hair coming out of his 900 year old ears.

In lieu of spending time making the usual one sheets for their movie posters, the guys working on Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance have created a contest to create a poster to be included in the official marketing campaign. Even though the entry portion is over , voting is still underway. With work like this being entered it’s going to be a tough vote.

T-shirt crafting website Threadless always has wonderful shirts for sale (Nerd Bastards sells some sweet ones  too. check em’ out here). This one for He-man, titled: “I Have The Powerpoint” shows just how corporate Castle Greyskull has become. I wish I worked in a business where pants where optional.

The Hulk and Thor have tussled a few times, but I’m not sure either have officially conquered the other. Regardless, when these two go at it, it’s destructive. Artist Daniel Clarke captures the electricity (figuratively and literally) of such an epic showdown.

World War II would have been way different with Super heroes. Otis Frampton’s art features that very cool “What if”, with several heroes from the DC universe on the cover of a December 7th, 1941 issue of LIFE Magazine.

Comic-artist Jesús Orellana created this animated cyberpunk sci-fi short film called Rosa.  While it isn’t an illustration, it is an artistic piece. He created it by himself, in a year, with absolutely no budget. Imagine what he could do with a budget and a movie deal.
