What a weekend for cosplay! It seems that Toronto nerds spent their winter months upping their game, creating wonderfully detailed costumes, and adding some news spins to old favourites. Yes, there were the usual suspects like Deadpool, Batman, Harley Quinn and every Star Wars character from the most popular to the most obscure. But how about a zombie Ewok? Or Winnie the
Pooh Wookie? There were also unusual pairings. Kick-Ass and Kylo Ren, ALF and a Vulcan science officer with purple hair, and the Macho Man Randy Savage and a Hulk Hulk Hogan. Somewhere along the way at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, you might have even encountered a genuine Captain Canuck and the Average Joes dodgeball team. Let’s take a look at some of the cosplay from Toronto ComiCon.
