From the seemingly never-ending stream of rumors and speculation pouring out of the tentatively titled Batman vs. Superman movie, we’ve got another interesting tidbit concerning the possible casting of another big name, who could potentially be taking the role of another JLA member!
Word is, Josh Holloway has been offered a role in the superhero flick, and the folks over at Comic Book Movie are speculating that he could potentially take the role of Aquaman, leading toward the Justice League movie that seems inevitable. We’ve been sifting through casting rumors left and right, with Bryan Cranston, Denzel Washington, and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson being rumored for big roles in the film and future sequels, but this one excites me even more.
It’s been a while since we’ve really seen Holloway, but he’s just returned to television this past week in the new show, Intelligence on CBS, and if this rumor is true we could be seeing a whole lot more of him. As awesome as that would be, I can’t clarify enough that this is a rumor that Holloway is being considered for a role in the film, and nothing is definite even if these rumors are true.
So, what do you all think? Do you see Josh Holloway as Arthur Curry, or do you think that this rumor will remain unconfirmed like most of the other casting speculation we’ve heard? Let us know!
