Word around the Internet today is that Mel Brooks wants to finally come through on Yoghurt’s promise of a Spaceballs sequel: Spaceballs: The Search For More Money. We’ll let that sink in for a minute, because we’re sure if you’re anything like us, your mind has just exploded. (more…)
This week on the emporium of dastardly bastardness, also know as The Bastardcast: Jason recounts his wild, possibly grifted birthday adventure, Jeremy has a nerdy quibble with a new Justice League project, the guys unleash the official NOW ITS SUMMER, SUMMER MOVIE PREVIEW, and discuss a new study that shows how positive internet buzz leads to positive box office.
Do to you like gladiator movies? Spectacular, the guys won’t be talking about that in headlines, but they will discuss the guy from The Man Show dragging his knuckles to get attention, Justin Timberlake‘s continued campaign to bring sexy back AND make it safe to go to the beach again, and Barbarella. All that and some potator chips (not for you) on the podcast. It’s almost a radio show, and we’re almost getting paid for this… but not really.
Has Donald Trump got the guts to say “You’re fired!” to The Incredible Hulk?
What about beaming George Takei and his legions of Internet fans into the cold, hard vacuum of space?
Trump announced his cast for the fifth season of “Celebrity Apprentice,” and the contenders include bodybuilding champion/”Incredible Hulk” actor Lou Ferrigno, Star Trek/Internet sensation George Takei, “American Idol” alum Clay Aiken, “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Teresa Giudice, and former talk show host comedian Arsenio Hall.
Rounding out the cast for the new season, which premieres on NBC on Feb. 12: radio and TV host Adam Carolla, magician Penn Jillette, Twisted Sister rocker Dee Snider, car racing legend Michael Andretti, “American Chopper” star Paul Teutul Sr., supermodel Cheryl Tiegs, pop singer Debbie Gibson, actress Tia Carrere, mob daughter Victoria Gotti, comedienne Lisa Lampanelli, former Miss Universe Dayana Mendoza, actress Aubrey O’Day and model Patricia Velásquez.
There’s bound to be plenty of “incidents” to talk about with this group. If Lisa Lampanelli can go through the show without 1000 blip outs this NerdBastard will be surprised. Adam Carolla will be one to watch in my opinion, he’s sharp and able to dish it out. George will be the most loved of the cast with his smooth talking ways. Penn Jillette will also be interesting to watch, can he shine as well without his partner?
Check out an interview with several of the newbie contestants below, as well as Trump, who calls the new cast the show’s best ever:
