Each and every week we scour the Internet for nothing but the best in nerdy art. We leave no digital stone unturned, we poke and prod every nook and cranny of the Interwebz. Why? Because we love you, and we love to bring you weekly feed of nerd art.

On with the dump!

Above: Move over Wolverine there’s another…Wolverine and he looks ready to star in a series of PG-13 Marvel movies. Created by artist Arthur Bozonnet this really cool character design for Wolverine is part Hugh Jackman, part badass and all kinds of awesome. Made for the Studio Hive production company these guys have one hell of an asset on their hands. [GeekTyrant]

Strawberry Shortcake

Last year, an art exhibit was run featuring the work of artists such as Alex Pardee, Donny Miller, Jeff McMillan, Nathan Cabrera, Travis Louie, Steven Daily and Tomi Monstre. It was called Gag Me With a Toon 2: Harder, Faster, Radder! and was set in good ol’ LA. Why I was not aware of this until now is a shame, but never-the-less, worth the late mention because of the recent artwork that has surfaced.

Let me introduce you to Dave Finch. The artist of the Strawberry Shortcake painting that has been circulating the web this past weekend. He is Canadian born comic book artist. He started with Top Cow Productions and moved on to co-create Ascension. He worked on the first 3 issues of Aphrodite IX and in 2003 moved on to Ultimate X-Men and then Avengers. In January 2010, it was announced he had left Marvel to become a DC Exclusive artist.

If you are interested in buying his work it can be purchased here. You can also check out his blog.

Check out his artwork after the jump…
