Black Eyed Peas

The Super Bowl gave people everything that they could have wanted from last Sunday. The Green Bay Packers are champions, we got to laugh at the Black Eyed Peas for the weird ass half-time show, but most importantly for the commercials. Sure we got Ozzy, Brisk ice tea and an old man Justin Beiber yet the movie trailers are what stole the show and none bigger was the Captain America trailer. The Joe Johnston directed film had a well deserved trailer but now it’s been taken and giving a very interesting twist.

Let’s do the twist

Created by Youtube user CelticPredator this remixed trailer has a few edits in footage, but it  now has a brand new soundtrack. Yes, a new soundtrack, not big freaking deal until you add the most kick ass movie song on the entire planet. Cutting out the original score and putting in Trey Parker and Matt Stone‘s “Fuck Yeah!” from Team America: World Police made the first avenger into the first truly awesome avenger. Prepare to have your funny bone tickled.

Moving on. Briefly: rumor/speculation is that Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who we know has been cast in ‘The Dark Knight Rises’, will be portraying Alberto Falcone, the son of former mob boss Carmine Falcone (Tom Wilkinson), a major villain in Batman Begins. Apparently, this rumor got started by Jim Vejvoda of at IGN and he was purely speculating. Normally, we don’t report the musings of one fan, but this makes infinitely more sense than previous rumors that Gordon-Levitt would play The Riddler or Robin because it fits so well with Christopher Nolan‘s trilogy. It’s plausible.

Take Michael Bay’s Transformers, remove Megan Fox and Shia Labeouf, and throw in ‘The Time’ by The Black Eye Peas and you get one awesome music video.

‘I am Optimus Prime’ the video puts the two things you need into a parody video together, a woman dressed in a Bumblebee costume (who is this babe? I must have sexual relations with her) and an Optimus Prime that has more game than Shia would ever have. You don’t think he got Fox because of a few giant robots did you? Comedy team ScreenTeamShow did a fantastic job poking fun at Michael Bay’s franchise, have a look:

Robots in disguise (costing $29.95)

Bay is gonna so jealous he didn’t think of this, his lawyers are already on speed dial.
