In a move that might just be the first intelligent act in Micheal Bay‘s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Reboot, the powers that be have moved the release date for the much maligned movie back a month.Let’s take a quick recap.

franchise with turtles that are neither turtles nor teenagers, fans explode the Internet. One of the creators of TMNT
steps up and defends the script and Bay’s intentions, fans explode the Internet. The script is then retooled
, fans sharpen pitchforks and gather torches. Megan Foxx is cast as April
, fans explode the Internet with one hand while fapping with the other.
OK, now you’re up to speed on the horrific story that is Micheal Bay’s TMNT. One might wonder why the production team would suddenly move the release date back a month after holding that release date since June 2012? Most likely it’s because of another green skinned reptile, Godzilla. Why should Godzilla scare the TMNT team? Could it be that fan favorite and incredibly talented Frank Darabont (The Walking Dead, Shawshank Redemption) is one of the script writers, maybe it’s the already fantastic actors cast, Brian Cranston (Breaking Bad) , Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Kick-Ass, Savages), Elizabeth Olsen (Red Lights)?
What do you think? Are you planning to give Micheal Bay’s TMNT movie a chance? I’m betting on a quick trip to the $5 DVD bin at your local Walmart.
