While he may only “work in black and sometimes very, very dark grey,” the powers that be over at Warner Bros. want to capitalize on the Lego Batman’s incredible popularity in the LEGO Movie. Everyone loved that crazy guy, and not in the gritty, dark as all get out Batman we’ve known in comics and the big screen. Lego Movie

The Lego Movie is still one of the biggest hits of 2014 (officially kicking off The Year of Chris Pratt) so it’s no surprise that a sequel is in the works. Indeed, Warner Bros has already announced The Lego Movie 2 scheduled for May 26, 2017. But that won’t be the end of the franchise. A new report suggests that two more Lego movie are being penciled in for 2018 and 2019, meaning the Lego series might be the new go-to family films. You won’t hear us complaining.

Sony does not have the power to make a a good He-Man movie. They do, however, have fabulous secret powers at ruining one beloved franchise after another (Ghost Rider, Amazing Spider-Man). And with all do respect to the following directors, Sony’s latest reported choices in talent to helm a new live-action He-Man movie is… well, it just makes you wanna  tell them to shove the power sword up a place that makes Fisto and Ram-Man smile.
