When it comes to DC superheroes, Batman is the best (sorry, just don’t like Superman) and in the wonderful world of internet, we have seen the Dark Knight go up against many enemies, such as a shark and Darth Vader.
The always funny folks over at CollegeHumor created a bunch of comic book covers that features Batman squaring off with many internet beings and memes, such as trolls and the courage wolf.
So click the jump button to check out more of these awesome comic book book covers and start wondering how Batman would beat these worthy internet foes.
Who doesn’t love seeing a hot chick dressing up in a costume? Especially if that chick is cosplaying a character that us nerds love. Once again, the funny folks over at CollegeHumor have created another funny music video and it’s all about cosplaying.
Check the video out as you see a lovely lady dress up in various of costumes ranging from Star Wars to Neon Genesis Evangelion. All to the tune of a Bruno Mars’ “Just The Way You Are” song parody. Also, good to see that people over at CollegeHumor have the same opinion of furries that I do.
Yo dude, you still think the Kinect is for them casual folks? Well then, you should check this video out just to see how really difficulty Kinect games can be. As shown in the video below from the game Kinect Joy Ride.
So yeah, as you see, this video has made quite the impact in the online gaming community as it shows how some Kinect games may work. Reactions have been mixed as some gamers just see this as a reason to not jump on the Kinect band wagon while some are defending it saying that the game is “kids oriented” and thus why it does the auto-drive.
Personally, I’ve found Dance Central to be the one game that does the Kinect justice but I’m sure some folks will find a flaw in that game and tell me that it’s not really registering my dance move. If anything, check out the dude’s (from the video) blog entry on this as he explains why he did this and his feelings about the Kinect.
Lets be honest, major comic book superheroes don’t stay dead long (hell, you can even say the same about some manga characters as well). The funny folks over at CollegeHumor made another entertaining video about the concept. While the characters shown in the video are based on popular comic book characters, we can safely assume who Alpha Man and Quick Man (he’s got a Q on his chest so I’m using my power of common sense to figure out his name) is a parody of.
Anyway, check the video out as you might get a laugh or chuckle out of it and if you don’t, well, I’m sorry (not really).
Time for another confession. I pretty much suck at mulitplayer shooters. My strategy (if you want to call it that) is pretty much either gun you down with me or take you down with a grenade. For some reason, this video reminded me that (like I need more things to remind me that I suck).
Anyway, the fine folks over at CollegeHumor took an interesting concept of what happens to a Spartan character during his rest time before they respawn. They show the Spartan’s short afterlife and comedy ensues. Hell, this video even has some sort of moral, so check the video out as it’s fairly short and you might get a chuckle out of it.
The CBS show, Undercover Boss, is known for taking CEO’s and owner’s of companies and sticking them in remedial jobs within their organization in order for them tpo gain perspective and make their company a better place. Lots of companies have done it, like NASCAR, 7-Eleven and even Hooter’s.
But what if the concept applied to real bosses, like the ones in videogames?
What if Shredder for the Tennage Mutant Ninja Turtles games saw what life was like as a member of the Foot Clan? Or Robotnik from the Sonic the Hedgehog games learned all about being a lowly mechanized animal?
Would they come out of the experience changed?
Luckily, the genius’ at CollegeHumor decided to show us exactly that in the video located below.
This is a must watch for anyone who is a fan of classic videogames.
The earliest memory I have about Sim City was that it was one of the few games that were playable on the old ass computers during my 2nd grade only if we got our work done early. A bunch of us guys would build cities just to destroy them because we found it hilarious then and I still find it hilarious now.
The good folks over at CollegeHumor took that concept and created this sketch called Sim City Mayor. Re-elect Ed Ward for Mayor of Sim City or see your city crumble within minutes by a natural disaster of his choice.
Sometimes being who you are prevents you to go all the way during a date. That’s the story of Andy, whose parents were anime characters. Once again, CollegeHumor has delivered another funny video as we see Andy try to find true love by unleashing his “Super Saiyan Erection Blast” on his date. I once tried to say Kamehame-Ha when I was with my girlfriend. Before I could finish saying it, she decided to slap me, just like Goku did to Freeza.
I have a confession to make, I hate history! History is 1. Boring 2. You can’t be there to experience it because it’s already happened 3. Is not always 100% true. Really, though I feel history is learning definitions, names, dates places.. etc, and not really learning about it. History is full of good stories, but the education system batters it up and makes it as uninteresting as possible.
Now, how would history become more interesting to the less interested like myself? Well, let comic legend Frank Miller tell it. Throw in some slutty-ness, disproportionate muscles, blood, guts and we got ourselves a history lesson. That’s how.
And, wouldn’t you know it, some cartoon artist thought the exact same thing. Caldwell Tanner imagined historical events and figures as though they had been illustrated by comic book artist Frank Miller.
Martin Luther, Marie Curie, Rosa Parks, and more retold in the style of Frank Miller’s Sin City.
It’s cool artwork, and I give Caldwell a tip of the hat for making history look appetizing. Just one question though. Why the fuck is Rosa Parks white?
It’s been awhile since I last watched Disney’sPinocchio and all I remember about it is that the old man wanted a boy, youngin’s getting drunk and gambling, and that people were swallowed by a whale. Well, the fine folks over at CollegeHumor takes an interest take on the Pinocchio story and hilarity ensues. Watch as Geppetto shows his disapproval of Pinocchio wanting to be what he wants and doing what he can to have a real boy. I can say that because of this video, I now have a new view on what Pleasure Island is.
