There were many changes to DC Comics‘ lore when the publisher relaunched all its books in 2011 with the New 52, and not many of them were greeted with cheers from the comic book fandom. However, one of the much-loved new additions was “The Court of Owls,” the storyline that kicked off the re-launched Batman title and introduced the titular villains to the Dark Knight’s vast menagerie of weird and spooky bad guys. Naturally, if it’s popular with Batman fans, then it’s a no-brainer for the producers of Gotham. There have been rumours that the Court of Owls is coming to the Fox drama, and now showrunner Bruno Heller has confirmed that yes, the Owls are coming. But when? (more…)
