Freaky, strange, dark… those are words that come to mind after watching the trailer for Danny Boyle’s (28 Days Later, Trainspotting, Slum Dog Millionaire, 127 Hours) , Frankenstein. This thing looks creepy as fuck and has an eerie vibe to it that makes it feel like Halloween all over again! The stage version of Boyle’s Frankenstein, taking place in London stars Benedict Cumberbatch and Johnny Lee Miller who alternate between the roles of Doctor Frankenstein and the Monster each night. The play is getting so popular (apparently they do artsy things better in Europe than in the US) that it will be airing in several theaters in the States on March 17th! The Brits always give us cool shit Ian McKellan, fish and chips and now a sweet rendition of the boring all Mary Shelley book. What do you guys think??
