So the amount of faith invested in Warner Bros.’ handling of its DC Comics properties can be measured in a thimble, but that’s not to say there’s no hope at all. As Warners gambles on Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice to establish its own expansive and interconnected universe in one ambitious movie, they also have several follow up projects scheduled for release in 2016 and beyond. One of them, of course, is Wonder Woman, who, as we already know, appears in Batman V. Superman. The solo Wonder Woman film based on the comic about the powerful Amazonian warrior now has a star (Gal Gadot), a director (Michelle MacLaren), and a release date (June 2017), but what it still lacks is a script. Just two days ago we reported that Devin Faraci of Badass Digest was privy to some tantalizing plot and character details regarding the most anticipated film in the history of the medium (seriously, the last time a movie had this big of an impact on western civilization, it was about a man sneezing).
Today, Faraci throws us more such tidbits–particularly a big hint at the role Gwendoline Christie of Game of Thrones fame appears to be playing.
