If Other Movies Were Tron-ified

Tron Alien

Tron is a movie that signified the changing of the guard for movie making – using computer to create effects. Most movies, from romantic comedies to horror use digital animation or effects to make the movie ‘better’ (depending on the movie, that is up for debate).

With the upcoming sequel of Tron Legacy, it is understandable that people are really excited to head back into that world.

The website Ain’t It Cool News decided to host a competition in celebration, by having people “tron-itize” scenes from their favorite movies in order to win a seat the the annual Butt-Numb-A-Thon (a 24 hour marathon of movies in Austin, Texas).

And, I must admit, some of them are pretty epic!

Romos Kubrick 15

I don’t know about you guys but A Clockwork Orange still scares the crap out of me and thanks to one Carlos Ramos, I want to watch it again because I am a fat idiot. Anyway, Carlos Ramos,  who has done work on Dexter’s Laboratory and Chalkzone, has done many art pieces that were inspired by the films of Stanley Kubrick and they are being portrayed at the Corpo Gallery from July 10th to August 3rd. Now that we are well within the information age and the Internet rules our life, computers have managed to place themselves at the top of the food chain.  I mean think about it, we are so dependent on the Internet if it turned off tomorrow panic, chaos, and death would ensue.
