“Quack! Quack! Quack!” Not traditionally how the start of a panel at Fan Expo Canada goes, but when you’re Elden Henson it’s to be expected. He’s put a lot of miles and a lot roles on his career in the almost 25 years since The Mighty Ducks, but he hasn’t been able to escape his legacy as the Duck’s enforcer Fulton Reed. “To this day I get Mighty Ducks, even doing the signings here most people want the Mighty Ducks picture signed,” Henson opined. But this was a day for Daredevil, and Henson was joined by co-star Charlie Cox, and Marvel Entertainment creative head Joe Quesada to talk about the popular Netflix series. (more…)

If you are old enough to remember the Mighty Ducks movies or have parents cool enough to have shared them with you, you remember just how wonderful the first two movies of the franchise really were. The morals of acceptance and perseverance in the face of adversity that ran throughout the series are timeless lessons that still have a positive influence on many fans of the films. Every few years, talk of a new entry in the franchise start-up and earlier this year, there was some chatter that the Ducks could indeed be making their way back to the big screen. One of the questions that many fans always have is “How much of the original cast would return?” Well, we had a chance to ask one of everyone’s favorite Ducks, Elden Henson, and it turns out, if the Flying V ever shines again, he is on board. In a little over a month, Marvel Studios will begin the next phase of its global multimedia dominance by launching the first of five Netflix series, this one about Daredevil, the Man Without Fear. Starring Charlie Cox as the titular vigilante with super-powered senses, Daredevil promises to be unlike any Marvel movie or series seen so far, a grim and gritty urban tale of dark heroes and darker villains. In a batch of new images from the show just released, we get our first official look at many of the other many characters, and in the accompanying interview, the show’s bosses discuss where Ol’ Horn Head, that is if he does take on a horn-headed helmet at some point, will find his place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Marvel fans all over the globe cheered when it was announced that the screen rights to Daredevil were back in Marvel’s capable hands. Those cheers were nothing compared to those that were inspired by the news that the Man Without Fear would be starring in his own Netflix series. Now that production has been underway for quite some time, Marvel is finally ready to let the rest of us know what the new logo for the series will look like. (more…)
Maybe you guys remember a small venture about Netflix TV shows planned by a little company named Marble Entertainment? What’s that? Oh, it’s Marvel…Marvel Entertainment. They make funny books. Well, they seem like nice kids so I wish them the best. Marvel is owned by some fella named Disney and according to one of his boys, Daredevil is about a character nobody wants to put in movies, but everybody’s all hopped up on tying other films together with projects on the small screen – like this Daredevil and Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. Principal shooting this time was set for New York City and we’ve got some photos and video of how that’s coming along. There’s a little boy in the video who screams something like “I can’t see!” Well, he didn’t click over to the next page…
