First Person Shooters

Dead Island, the zombie first person shooter/slicer/basher from Techland  will be hitting store shelves on December 31st, 2011 has a new trailer out. The last one really set a high bar for both quality, story, tugging heart strings. This new trailer meets the mark in my opinion.

One major point of the zombie genre that was always missing from most video games about zombies was the feeling of loss, the battle between survival and lost loved ones. Who didn’t see that in The Walking Dead when the zombie mother tries to open the door and later the husband can’t find it in himself to shoot her. That kind of stuff can really get you into the story and connect you with the characters.

Take a look at this video, enjoy the music and it’s impact on the story as you  look at the family vacation pictures. Then tell NerdBastards what you think in the comments section below.

After hours of playing First Person Shooter (FPS) games like Call Of Duty or Medal Of Honor it could very well feel like your life is fueled 10 minutes at a time. Yet, its only just a game, right? From the mind of Freddie Wong, the same man who created Beach Justice: The Academy , comes a real life  First Person Shooter. An overall fantastic video (it was missing a newbtube) with Freddie taking on 5 other people in a Call Of Duty setting. Watch as he shoots, knifes and grenades his enemies into oblivion all by himself. Granted, he does get himself killed a few times but that happens to everyone. Except me though, you can’t kill what you can’t see.
