full-house-reunion

Whatever happened to predictability?  Looks like you can find it pretty much anywhere in Hollywood.  As anyone with a childhood knows, Hollywood loves to repackage and rebrand old material to try to cash in on your nostalgia.  Most times, this is rather unsuccessful, both in execution and reception, but with the exploding TV-revival trend that includes Coach (coming to NBC as early as this fall), The X-Files (returning to Fox next season), Twin Peaks (bowing hopefully on Showtime in 2016) and FH‘s TGIF successor Boy Meets World (currently airing on Disney Channel via Girl Meets World), fans are getting more of the properties they once held dear. Well, another sitcom is about to get rebooted and all we can do is hope that it will be as wonderful as we all want it to be.

TV Line reports that the cast is reuniting for a 13-episode reunion series called (and I’m not making this up) Fuller House, and Netflix is “thisclose” to ordering it. (more…)

Meanwhile, hot on the heels of their team ups on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and a Superbowl ad for Dannon Oikos yogurt, the boys from Full House seem to be primed for some manner of reunion themselves.  (more…)

MAIN TV

(An Article by Ghost Writer Crystal Halcott)

When I was growing up I remember simply: having a good time. We used to play Kick The Can and Hide and Seek and climb trees. We would roll ourselves down the small hill in the neighborhood and play in the woods. We would stay out late during the summer and go in and out of the neighbor’s houses playing video games in the basement or playing Barbie’s in the bedrooms. Shows you would skip dinner for and shows you would purposely loose Kick The Can for. I remember those shows and they will always have a special place in my heart. So here they are, in no particular order (and please feel free to let me know what your FAVES are as well)…
