Anyone out there remember that sequel to G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra that was promised? It was called G.I. Joe: Retaliation, if my memory serves me, and the poor flick has undergone a massive delay. Though if the powers-that-be are to be believed, it will indeed be coming to a theater near you sometime in the future. To prove this point, they’ve even decided to drop a giant, four-minute 3D trailer on us. Well, at least those going to see the new Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters will be able to see it anyways.
Those that aren’t going to see that particular flick can check out this new video promo. It’s supposed to entice us into seeing the new trailer, I think. At the very least, we get to watch some ninjas jumping around doing ninja stuff in 2D.
Think this makes it all worthwhile that they’ve taken the extra time out to convert the flick to 3D?
Barring random unforeseen acts of God, check out G.I. Joe: Retaliation when it hits theaters on March 29th.
Thanks to /film for the heads-up.
