While out promoting his latest Quentin Tarantino-directed flick, The Hateful Eight, Samuel L. Jackson was asked whether he’d seen Star Wars: The Force Awakens and what he thought of the movie (he has seen it, for the record). Quentin Tarantino knows how to pull a cast together.  Each and every one of his movies thus far has boasted a diverse and talented cast, even when members of that cast may not have been seen in a wide release movie in years.  From John Travolta to Pam Grier, from Samuel L. Jackson to Leonardo Dicaprio, Tarantino is able to take actors that may not have much in common on paper and thrust them into a brilliant example of cinematography and dialogue as equals.  It’s wonderful when Quentin is able to utilize actors that have shied away from the spotlight but when he is able to bring an award winning actor into the fold, it’s more than just wonderful – it’s supremely exciting.  Thanks to the folks over at Collider, audiences may now have the newest name to be added to the Tarantino flock and if their source is correct, the newest addition to Tarantino’s tribute to spaghetti westerns, Hateful Eight, will get plenty of people excited for the project.
