interactive experience

If you thought that only theme parks could be interactive, think again. Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment , the company that has brought movie and TV enthusiasts classics like: The Simpsons, Family Guy, X-Men,Star Wars and other pieces of nerdy goodness, has announced that they will be creating a one of a kind shopping experience with the help of their partner Taubman Centers.

In preparation for this Sunday’s start to the second half of The Walking Dead, AMC has released this interactive experience where you play Sheriff Shane Walsh in the hours before Atlanta’s “Zombie apocalypse”.

The outbreak has struck, but no one knows it yet. The chaos has only just begun. You are Shane Walsh, a small-town police officer. Keep yourself and your people safe from harm. You have two objectives: Prevent people from being killed or turned into walkers–and keep yourself alive.

The game can be played exclusively at *Note: Make sure you have the latest edition of Flash before you play or otherwise it won’t load (found that out the hard way). It’s a nice little game, but its all too simple when you know your dealing with zombies.

AMC’s critically acclaimed original series, The Walking Dead, is back with its much anticipated second season. When we last left the The Walking Dead, the characters were in the midst of a high-intensity struggle to survive, fleeing the CDC as it burst into flames. In Season 2, they are still on the move, facing more threats and obstacles than ever. Led by a remarkable ensemble cast and crew, Season 2 premieres with a 90-minute episode on Sun., 2/12 at 9/8c.
