Inuyasha

If you are an Anime fan, you’ll know that the three longest running Anime/Manga so far are Once Piece, Naruto and Bleach. I remember these particular Anime/Manga appearing around the end of my freshman and the beginning of my sophomore year of high school. I’m currently a Senior in COLLEGE. So yeah, these three Titans of the Anime/Manga world have been around longer than many other Anime or Manga in ciruculation since Inuyasha, Dragonball Z, and my favorite Sailor Moon, which is making a comeback with bi-monthly reprints that started earlier this year.

In February, a Japanese Magazine made a small announcement that the Bleach anime series would be ending March 27th, and it set the Internet on fire. People began making theories of what would become of Bleach. Some said it would make a comeback with a slightly different name, like Naruto did when it became Naruto: Shippuden and went forward in time from the events of the  former series. Others though, began to slowly accept the reality that the show was really over and instead began the contemplation of how long the manga would last.

(original article from Japan announcing the last episode of Bleach)

Seeing as Tite Kubo, the creator of Bleach, has been saying that the current arc of Bleach in manga format will be the “last arc” there has been no definite date or year that this arc will finish. This is what is leading many to speculate that there will be a small break of non-filler/no air time, before they just pop back up with the LAST season.  As of today, two days after the set ending of the show, there have been no reports of the show coming back on air just reminders that the manga is still being released.

The U.S & United Kingdom will probably not begin to see the last arc until about a year or so from now, after it is dubbed. Voice actors Johnny Young Bosch, Stephanie Sheh, Michelle Ruff, Jamieson Price, and  the other members of the American cast will assuredly be missed for their roles in such a monumental piece of otaku/anime culture that has made a large impact on the current generation of Anime/Manga lovers everywhere.

While I’m sure some Otaku’s may be reading this, my friends included, wondering whether I’ll give spoilers or my opinion on the last episode I’ll just let you know now that I’m not planning on it unless there is a ‘desperate’ need for my opinion. If you’d like to know what happened in the last episode “google it” and you’ll find many blogs that have posted up a play by play with comments on the last episode.

The last episode of the series Ep. 366  entitled Changing History, Unchanging Hearts is part of the 16th Season, also known as the Lost Substitute Shinigami arc. The arc takes place seventeen months after the teenager Ichigo Kurosaki lost his Soul Reaper powers and meets a man known as Kugō Ginjō who proposes him to recover them.
What are your favorite memories involving Bleach? Whether its meeting with friends in High School or College, what was your favorite arc, or if it helped you through a difficult time go ahead and share with us we want to hear your story?

Yeah…so this happened. While I may like Yahh Trick (yeah, the censored version), I really don’t care for Soulja Boy Tell ‘Em since his music doesn’t do much for me. Well, Soulja recently release this track, titled Anime, and like the title of this post says…I died a little inside. Seriously, I felt like my life force was slowly draining away from me while listening to the 3 minutes of this… thing (I can’t even call it song).

Folks, if you do listen to this, you’ll notice that all the anime he says has aired on Toonami/Adult Swim. Y’all know, shows like Dragon Ball Z, Inuyasha, Death Note, and even Case Closed. He also goes on saying how his like Goku, Gohan, Vegeta, Piccolo, and shooting fire balls like Trunks (Nerd Rage: They are KI BLASTS!! NOT Fire balls!). Also, something about Pikachu and diamonds.

So what do y’all think? You think this is a next hit waiting to happen or is this just utter shit (sorry about the language but that’s how I feel about this). Tell us by commenting after the jump.
