Darth Vader

Mattias Adolfsson has given Star Wars a pretty radical makeover, by adding a very cartoon-like victorian style to some of the classic characters that we all know and love. With Vader, The Emperor, a Stormtrooper, C-3PO and R2D2, Chewbacca, Yoda, Leia (no slave Leia you perverts), Jabba the Hut, and my favorite, Bobba Fett. We kind of got screwed on seeing Han Solo, but he is somewhat recognizable in the Millennium Falcon pic. I first saw his rendition of the Deathstar on Dance Gavin Dance’s The Deathstar Album, but had never seen the other artwork that went with it. It reminds me of the artwork from the Phantom Tollbooth, probably the best book of my childhood.. Yea, it’s that awesome. Adolfsson has some serious talent, and I’ll leave you guys with one last statement “look at the stormtrooper’s crotch”. More pics after the jump, ENJOY!! ¬† (more…)
