Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask

Zelda Meets Back To The Future

Continuity is a bitch, especially in video games.

But the award for most convoluted and confusing video game timeline goes to …. Link from The Legend of Zelda series of games!

Not only does every game (seemingly) re-write the past/present/future of the franchise, but sometimes they do not even star the same version of the character! Sometimes it is the same (Ocarina of Time and Majora’s Mask), but other games he’s younger (like in Windwaker) or older, like in Twilight Princess.

The people who create the games must have some sort of an identity crisis in order to feel the need to change it up all the time. But honestly Nintendo, is it that hard to make games that can go in at least a semi-straight line and don’t involve multiple timelines?

I just hope the upcoming game, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword fits in all nice and pretty somewhere.

But, what if you could (kind of) make sense of all the games with a poorly done YouTube video using the only man who could possibly make sense of it all: Doc Brown from the Back To The Future movies?

Well, you’re in luck! Because we have just that very thing for you … wow, you must be psychic!

Check out the video embedded below, and let us know what you think. Does it make sense or just make everything more complicated?

SongofHealing

The music of Zelda always brings back such wonderful memories of the games.

Even at their worst, most Zelda games are far better than most other games. In fact, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is still ranked number 1 on my list of all-time favorite videogames.

The sequel, Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask was not as good, but was still highly enjoyable.

In the sequel, one of the most played songs was the “Song of Healing,” and YouTube user Sp0ntanius decided to showcase his love of the song (as well as his talent for playing wine glasses) in the very cool video below.
