Peter Capaldi‘s Doctor Who is back on September 19th as the series enters its 9th season under show-runner Steven Moffatt. The first episode The Magiacian’s Apprentice finds Clara (Jenna Coleman) in need of the good Doctor’s help when Earth’s skies are frozen by an unknown alien race. The problem? No one can find the Doctor, but as Clara says in the trailer below, “If anyone can find him it’s me.” (more…)

Spiderman fanatic Maisie Williams hasn’t been around the site much. Last time we talked about her, she was dissing the hell out of ‘Game Of Thrones’ book readers for being douchebags. It was one of my favorite stories, authored by a fantastic writer. It’s nice to see her return to these pages, even if it’s not GOT-oriented. Yes, it just so happens that the young actress has aspirations to do other things outside of medieval fantasy. For instance, how about a superhero television series? When being interviewed about her upcoming projects, including the gaming world’s ‘The Last Of Us,’ little Arya Stark mentioned being in talks for something┬ámore Hit-Girl than sword girl. (more…)

Before we get started you should be warned that there might be spoilers in this Game of Thrones post. If you want to steer clear of any potential spoilers from the books that season five will be dealing with then just stop right here.

It’s what the internet– nay, the entire nerd world has been abuzz about since Sunday night when Game of Thrones‘ most shocking episode aired. And if you haven’t yet seen said episode, I’d go click your way somewhere else. Believe me, you don’t want to be here. What follows will not only spoil what is a genuinely great surprise, it will also sink you into a depression so deep not even back to back to back editions of Sexy Cosplay of the Week could save you.

Okay, we’re all square with discussing the big turn of events from last week’s episode, “The Rains of Castemere“, yes? Good.

Let’s begin with what is easily the most adorable and hilarious reaction to The Red Wedding, and it comes from GoT‘s own Arya, Maise Williams (caution: auto play),

I’m telling ya, true story! See it all here, caught on film by Funny or Die. Sir Patrick Stewart is the Godfather of scalping. Maise Williams is the young street urchin who helps him steal a ticket from Olympic Gold Medalist, Ryan Lochte, which they then turn around and sell to actor, Simon Pegg. For Stewart, it’s the role of a lifetime and I for one hope this isn’t the end of Ticket-Tooth Phillip.

For real, can this get picked up for series?
