Meredith Finch isn’t yet one of the most well-known name in comics, but she’s shown she at least has good taste in comic artists, she even married one. The wife of David Finch hasn’t been working as long in the industry as her husband, but she’s already established herself as an author that can take on comics’ biggest names with the skill and ease of a seasoned pro. Coming up, she’s got Catwoman: Election Night, but during a press availability at Fan Expo Canada we asked Finch about her tenure with husband/artist David on Wonder Woman. What was it like to work on a book with her husband, to work on such an iconic character like Wonder Woman, and whether it takes a woman to write a female superhero.  (more…)

Whether she’s wearing pants, metal bra, leather jacket, gold tiara, or a star spangled bikini, Wonder Woman is the diva of costume changes. In a new cover that debuted online earlier today, the creative team of Meredith & David Finch are updating the warrior of themyscira’s look once a again. Premiering in the June issues Wonder Woman #41, WW is now decked out in a full body suit, and has ditched the lasso and sword for retractable blades on her wrists.  (more…)

After helming Wonder Woman since the launch of the New 52, Brian Azzarello and Cliff Chiang will be handing over the keys to DC’s premier heroine to Meredith and David Finch, with Meredith writing and her husband David providing the art. The shift in the creative team is part of an overall facelift for the title, with even the storylines changing as they veer away from the Greek myth-centric stories that Azzarello and Chiang told and instead start looking into Diana’s relationship with the Justice League and how it affects her duties with the Amazons.  (more…)
