Mondo posters

Time for your weekly dose of the fantastic fandom-based art that’s hit the web this week with your Nerd Art Dump. Each and every week we pick and choose through the masses of prints and pics on the digital frontier to give you nothing but the best to fill your geek needs. So on with the dump.

ABOVE: Just to prove a point about how many characters have made their way through Futurama, here’s a piece of work that shows every damn character that’s had a part in the series.  The question is, are you hardcore enough to name an episode that each one of them appeared in? – By Deviant Art user Unrellius

If you’re a fan of sickeningly awesome posters then you’re familiar with the Austin-based collectible arts boutique Mondo, best known for their collaborations with the Alamo Drafthouse. They create some of the most incredible movie posters around, and now they’ve turned their attention to HBO‘s hit fantasy epic, Game of Thrones. Prepare to yell, “Shut up and take my money!”

Sadly, your best Fry impression will only do you any good if you’re at Comic Con this week as these limited-edition, screen-printed posters are a convention exclusive. Wah-wah. But for those lucky bastards in attendance the posters will be made available, gradually, over the course of the con. Check out booth #437 or follow @MondoNews for more info.

Just feast your eyes on their beauty,

by Martin Ansin

This last one by Ansin is definitely my favorite. The characters are beautifully rendered and and I just love the the lions attacking the stag with a wolf trailing behind, simply awesome. So, uh, who’s going to Comic Con and wants to snag me one? You’ll be my super-duper, best friend forever!
