The Walking Dead‘s Norman Reedus is no stranger to Marvel Comics roles, he’s voiced the Punisher in an animated movie (Iron Man: Rise of Technovore), and he blew up real good as the turncoat Scud in Blade II. He’s got his own motorcycle riding show about to premiere on AMC, Ride With Norman Reedus and when asked recently if he would be game to take on another Marvel role if Marvel came a knocking, Reedus said he was ready to ride. After a very short introduction of blood, rosaries and voices, the group is taken on whirlwind ride, chasing their own. Tonight’s episode will start something that will change the group forever. Apparently Walkers aren’t the only thing trying to get take a bite out of Norman Reedus. Over the weekend, an overzealous The Walking Dead fan went full Walker and took a Norman Reedus sized bite during a photo-op with Reedus and Michael Rooker. Things obviously didn’t go as the fan, Harleygurl68 hoped or planned though. What went down after the bite?
Belief in the power of that huge The Walking Dead fan base can once again be seen in AMC‘s move to green-light a six episode reality series, Ride With Norman Reedus. As the title suggests, viewers will be taken on a journey through motorcycle culture with Norman Reedus as he bikes around the country. His The Walking Dead motorcycle riding character Daryl Dixon has been a huge part of the popularity of the series and now he’ll take his real life love affair with motorcycles on the road.
As the recent record-breaking premiere of Fear the Walking Dead proved, people are still nuts about zombies, and thus it should be no surprise that the Q&A for cast members of original recipe The Walking Dead was at capacity Sunday morning at Fan Expo. Unlike Dragon Con, which has the benefit of being in the hometown of Dead, Atlanta, GA, only three members of the cast were in attendance at Fan Expo this year, but that didn’t even slightly dampen the enthusiasm for the show or its stars. They’ve become good friends and their hijinks have been delighting fans since the show first aired.
