Did y’all catch the recent balls-to-wall trailer for Kick-Ass 2? If you didn’t, you can check it out by clicking HERE. The trailer is not for the faint of heart. Violence, vulgarity, a grown up Chloe Moretz (She aint no hit girl anymore, behold HOT GIRL) and a dog biting a man’s balls off… yeah, it’s F’N bitchin’! Cool, original, and completely bad-ass… I can’t wait to see this movie! Oh, and Jim Carrey, what a surprise he is as Colonel Stars; exuding a persona that’s so un-Jim Carrey like. If it wasn’t for his name being shown in the trailer, you’d have no idea it was him. Sometimes it’s easy to forget what a good actor he truly is; here’s a roll that reminds you of his ability.

So, when exactly is Kick-Ass being released to theaters? It is known us folks in the U.S. are getting it August 16th, but what about outside North America? Well, some countries can expect it almost 2 months in advance of the U.S. Oh, the jealousy is maddening! Here’s a full list of Global Sites and Release dates:

Argh! UK wins again (they’re always getting premier ahead of us)…like a whole month before the U.S. Guess I finally have reason to travel abroad.

Besides the release dates business, here’s a a charming pic featuring Christopher Mintz-Plasse (The Mother Fucker), Olga Kurkulina (Mother Russia), and Jim Carrey (Colonel Stars).

KICK-ASS 2 based on the comic book created by Mark Millar and John Romita Jr. and is being directed by Jeff Wadlow. The film stars Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Chloë Moretz, Jim Carrey, Lyndsy Fonseca, Yancy Butler, Donald Faison, John Leguizamo, Lindy Booth, Olga Kurkulina, and Nicolas Cage makes a cameo.

Universal Pictures and director Jeff Wadlow have been busy filming Kick-Ass 2 in the Toronto. During production, Jeff himself has been leaking shots through Twitter. One thing he hasn’t leaked we’re the new heroes. Now that the media has seen Christopher Mintz-Plasse in his new Mother F*cker costume, Olga Kurkulina as Mother Russia and Hit-Girl’s sweet new motorcycle people are dying to see Jim Carrey as Colonel Stars.

Thanks to the lax security laws here in Canada we can thank Mr. Will Wong for the video we’re all about to receive.

Don’t worry about all the onlookers shouting and acting up from where Wong was shooting, the stars are all microphoned up so their audio can be fixed up or edited later on. And as for Jim, look at the guy. Give the man some camo, a red, white and blue club and you’ve got one tough looking ex-mafia member turned vigilante capable of kicking the crap out of a riddler.

Also in the video is Lindy Booth and Robert Emms as Night Bitch and Insect Man respectively and both considerably different then their comic book counterparts. I can’t wait how this scene would play out when it’s finally released as some kind of trailer.

Kick-Ass 2, starring Aaron Johnson, Chloe Moretz, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Jim Carrey, John Leguizamo, Donald Faison, Robert Emms, Morris Chestnut and Lindy Booth, is scheduled for theaters everywhere June 28th, 2013.

Batman’s got the Batmobile, Wonder Woman an invisible plane, even Spider-Man has a dune buggy that climbs walls, so it shouldn’t be any surprise Kick-Ass 2 will feature Hit-Girl’s new ride which I’m dubbing:

Hold . . . Hold . . . Wait for it . . .

The Hit-Girl-Cycle . . . No, that’s not it . . . The . . . the Hit-Cycle . . .

Yeah, that’s the ticket, Hit-Cycle.

Check out the gallery below to see the new Hit-Girl vehicle and some other unmasked shots of Aaron Johnson, Chloe Moretz and her bike riding Hit-Girl stunt double. There’s also pictures of Olga Kurkulina as Mother Russia, and the first look at Claudia Lee as Brooke.

Kick-Ass 2 hits screens on June 28th, 2013.

‘Kick Ass 2’: Mother Russia Revealed!

A few days ago, we showed you a series of behind the scenes shots from the set of Kick-Ass 2: Balls to the Wall, courtesy of director Jeff Wadlow. One shot in particular (above) featured Christopher Mintz-Plasse and an unknown bodybuilder. This was such an obvious tease to Mother Russia; Red-Mist’s body guard. However, with the shot being cut off at the neck, fans we’re left wondering which actress actually landed the part.

Is it Chyna? Gina Carano? Or, perhaps, the comeback of Brigitte Nielsen? Nope, none of the above. The buff mystery lady is an unknown, actually.

The role has gone to *drumroll* Russian born bodybuilder, Olga Kurkulina.

According to Bleeding Cool, and their translation from the Russian site Iron World, Olga confirmed her hiring to the cast as the six foot tall ex-KGB agent under the employ of Red-Mist:

“I competed against other candidates from America, Switzerland and Holland. I spent three weeks in the casting, which took place at Pinewood studios. At the end, the director told me that I was getting a role. This was a difficult time psychologically and physically.

Many people worked hard and from the heart to help me. On August 30th we fly to Toronto for a month’s shooting on location, and then we go back to London where stunts will be filmed at a local studio.

Now I’m train hard, learning new movements for attack and defense working with professionals on my acting and speech training.”

Also included in the interview with Olga was a picture of her beside stunt coordinator Buster Reeves, and another unknown individual only known as Michael. Maybe an assistant to Reeves, who knows? Anyway, here’s your first real look at Mother Russia:

She’s perfect to play Mother Russia! There defiantly won’t be any fake ass accents here, since Olga is a born and raised Russian. She’s also pure muscle. Which, if you’re into that sort of thing, is super sexy. Both attributes befit the role. She’s authentic as it gets.

I’ll be having a few strong BDSM based dreams in my future, that’s for sure.

Kick-Ass 2: Balls to the Wall sees the return of Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Chloë Grace Moretz, Nicolas CageChristopher and Mintz-Plasse. Fresh faces include John Leguizamo, Donald Faison, Robert Emms, Morris Chestnut, Lindy Booth and Jim Carrey. It will hit theaters June 28th, 2013.
