Olivia Munn

Olivia Munn sure is making a name for herself around Hollywood. This once famous co-host of Attack of The Show has been landing some pretty cush acting gigs. After a break-out role in The Newsroom, she hustled her way in Kevin Hart’s Ride Along 2 just before boarding the cast of  X-Men: Apocalypse – playing the butt-kicking femme fatale Psylocke. And now, this actress/model/self-professed geeky gal, has earned herself into another huge IP. She’s hopped onto Shane Black‘s Predator reboot-quel.  (more…)

The final trailer for Bryan Singer‘s X-Men: Apocalypse hit the Internet toady and confirms a long rumored cameo. If you want to stay completely in the dark until you see [REDACTED] on the big screen, you might want to skip this final trailer, as awesome as it is. The whole gang is here, making the transition from student to full-fledged X-Men, with more than a few other well-known mutants thrown in. Jennifer Lawrence‘s Mystique leads the fledgling X-Men against Apocalypse (Oscar Isaac) and his Four Horsemen, Magneto (Michael Fassbender), Storm (Alexandra Shipp), Archangel (Ben Hardy), and Psylocke (Olivia Munn). There’s also a first look at the Blob which was recently posted by Singer on Instagram. (He’s not the special cameo we’re not talking about.) (more…)

It’s easy to see how excited Olivia Munn is to be playing Psylocke in Brian Singer‘s X-Men: Apocalypse, she’s been sharing pictures and videos pretty much non-stop since her casting announcement. We’ve seen her making flips, jumps, swinging swords, and high licking things. Olivia Munn has taken her Psylocke training for Bryan Singer‘s upcoming X-Men: Apocalypse very seriously with flips and acrobatics, but now she’s taken her sword training to the next level while facing off against Deadpool‘s own Ryan Reynolds. We should warn you though, this video is not for the squeamish or easily disturbed. These two go at each other like the Kardashian sisters fighting to take and post a selfie. (more…)

ew-cover-apocThat is, he actually kinda sorta looks like he is suppose to look.

When the internet got it’s first look at Oscar Isaac as Apocalypse in the villains eponymous X-Men movie,  well let’s say it was less than kind. Yes, we all know he bore an uncanny resemblance to a certain oozy purple Power Ranger villain and yes it was kind of rough seeing the big budget Hollywood blockbuster costume pale in comparison to some great, source clinging cosplay. Well, maybe that’s not his final form?

XMenNewz has posted some photos that, if legit, might make even the most cynical X-Fan rest a little easier about En Sabah Nur’s big screen debut. It also might spoil parts of the movie so the pic and a super special surprise bonus are up after the jump.  (more…)

Earlier today Oliva Munn posted an Instagram of her new purple hair for her upcoming role as Psylocke in Brian Singer‘s X-Men: Apocalypse, (You can check it out after the jump). Shortly after, the upcoming cover of Entertainment Weekly hit the Internet showing us the first official looks at Psylocke, Apocalypse (Oscar Isaac), and Magneto (Michael Fassbender) in all their costumed glory. We all know that Olivia Munn is playing Psylocke in the upcoming mutant movie X-Men: Apocalypse, but what are some of the distinguishing things about that particular X-Woman? Well, she’s got telepathic powers complete with a “thought knife” she can use to directly invade the thoughts in your head. She’s an expert martial artist. Her brother is Captain Britain. And, perhaps most strangely, she’s an English woman trapped in an Asian woman’s body. Psylocke, AKA: Elizabeth Braddock, does have another trait that sets her apart from the pack, a certain follicle affectation that immediately makes her noticeable as the X-Men’s tertiary telepathic character. So know that it begs the question, what is Olivia Munn hiding under that hood. (more…)
