Most hilarious, some amusing, but all worth at least a few seconds of your time. We here at Nerd Bastards try to bring you the best bits of news and nerdery the webz has to offer, with a bit of snark thrown in. But sometimes not everything makes the cut. Monday through Friday we’ll be bringing you our inbox leftovers, our forgotten bookmarks, the nerdy bits that simply slipped through the cracks. You can submit items to Nerdy Bits by emailing us at

Above: Here’s a personal submission to Nerdy Bits. This beauty was found at a weekend summer festival I attended. It’s an NES pipe! And honestly, what better way is there to repurpose such a classic controller. Remember you can send in your own submissiong for Nerdy Bits at the email above!

Tired of Wii Party? Is Princess Peach just not doing it for your anymore? Ubisoft has the answer in the release of what they’re calling the first “Sexy Party Game.” Yup, there’s a reason to dust off your Wii again, but only if you live in Europe. Bum-mer! We Dare is a motion game for both the Wii and Playstation Move whose game play involves spanking, kissing and even stripping! All at the command of your video game console, the little pervert. Seriously, we’re not making this one up folks. Kotaku has the official list of game features,

• Select the mood of your party: Enchanting, Persuasive, Naughty, Adventurous and Brainy.
• Dance to your favourite tunes from film and radio.
• Challenge your mates to a flirty strip-tease.
• Multiplayer up to 4 players.

There’s even a trailer for the game, but unfortunately the slightly awkward trailer can’t be viewed in the US. Oh wait, yes it can! But it has been banned from Youtube for those of us in the good ‘ole US of A, so no embedding. Here’s the link to where the trailer can be viewed on 1up.

If you watch the trailer please feel free to explain to me the connection between your avatar flying through rings and spanking someone with a Wiimote shoved down their pants. Of course I’m probably missing the point, this might be the wet dream of nerds everywhere. A game that could finally allow them to reach first base! And has nothing to do with baseball!

If  you still don’t believe the racy game is for realz, you can view the product on Here’s excerpts from the product description,

You can also use your Wii Balance Board for additional gameplay based on pure body mass… Perhaps shedding some clothes will even the playing field…it’ll definitely make the party more interesting!

Act out saucy suggestions that you hear through the Wii-mote speakers

The final climax of the game ends in a light hearted, match-making session. Which of your friends is your best match for Love or Friendship? How you play, how you answer questions, how well you perform, and finally, how you chose to create your avatar, will ultimately determine your perfect match.

If you’re looking for a way to spice up game night, and either live in Europe or have access to a region free game console, We Dare is the provocative party game for you. Hot girls and/or men not included.

Sony Revealed The PlayStation Move

166506-psmoveWell, here’s the HD Wii Console everyone has been waiting for. Yesterday, Sony had a conference at GDC and it was all about one thing, the PlayStation Move. Sony talked about how the Wii gamers will eventually buy a HDTV and would want a HD Console to play motion control games, so they are hoping those audiences to “move” towards the PS3 as they say, it does everything. With certain games, players will either use one or two Move controllers or one Move controller and a Sub-controller (ala Nunchuck for the Wiimote). A lot of people have been bashing it calling the Waggle 2.0 or like joked above, Wii HD, but there are people who got their hands on the device and was very impressed with it. As far as how your resident PS3 fanboy feels about it, well, just have to wait and see when it comes out as I will buy it just to try it out (or if Sony would like to help this poor college student out, GIVE ME ONE!!!). Either way, Sony does want the PS3 to do everything as they will also have the firmware update to play games in 3D with the new 3D HD TV’s coming out later this year. What do you guys think? You think too late for Sony to try to do this and tha Microsoft’s Project Natal is the future? Or does the Move seems good and it will probably be a hit. Check after the break for a nice vid Joystiq put together that features the games of PlayStation Move.
