With a little less than two weeks to go before the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the promotion for the film has gone into, ahem, hyperdrive. Even though there’s about 11 more sleeps till most people’s first chance to see the film, fans will be speculating till the curtain lifts as to what, or what not, has been included in the film. Today, we have some insight into the latter. Culled from a press event over the weekend, we can say definitively a couple of things about The Force Awakens: it’s got no Ewoks, no Jar Jar Binks, and no post-credits sequences. That’s what I’ve heard, anyway. Apparently this additional post-credit scene is the one that comes after the credits and it’s only been added to US prints of The Avengers. The scene is also not the usual set up for the next Marvel movie, either. What we’ve heard from those lucky bastards who’ve already seen The Avengers is the post-credit scene is more of a wrap-up to something that happens earlier in the film.
Since I’ve been trying to stay as pure as possible for The Avengers I don’t actually know what happens in this new post-credits scene. But I can show you where to find out. Enjoy.
Now, play nice. Don’t be a dick and spoil it in the comments!
