Hold on to your helmets Star Wars fans, you’re in for a bit of interesting hear-say!  According to some early reports, on Monday, October 19th you’ll be able to watch the new Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer and pre-order your tickets for December 18th.  If true, this trailer will be the first glimpse of new film footage since a 15 second Instagram video in August.  What’s more, it’s also rumored to be the last trailer, debuting online on October 19th before hitting theaters November 6th with Spectre. (more…)

If you live in San Francisco, Los Angeles or New York City, that is. Hope I didn’t get you really excited for no reason. I’d feel like a right bastard if I did.

Fandango has begun quietly selling tickets for the midnight release of The Dark Knight Rises: The IMAX Experience. All very hush, hush. Christopher Nolan‘s finale to the Batman trilogy won’t release until July 20th of this year making these tickets available over 27 weeks in advance! At least you don’t need to be lined up ’round the building just to snag one. Again, y’know, only if you live in one of those three cities. Sorry about that early, I’m just as put out as the rest of you. I don’t live in a city currently selling tickets and it sucks. Maybe that’s why I played such a mean joke?

The Film Stage is reporting the tickets have been on sale in theatre since the prologue premiered in front of Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol. Here are two ticket purchased back in December,

They’re also reporting they’ve been sold out for weeks.

These tickets seem legit. ‘Course, how many times has someone spoken those words before everything’s revealed to be a giant hoax. Then again, why would Fandango not have pulled their online ticketing? Someone living in one the aforementioned cities buy a ticket and let us know what happens, kay?
