Iron Fist wasn’t a huge surprise. Luke Cage made fans nervous. Could these characters and their actors return on another streaming service? Or The Mouse scrapping everything to restart on its own? Fans of the canceled shows and remaining shows alike theorize across the internet. Does Marvel give any clues, or do they spark more rumors? Cast members of Daredevil speak on the cancellation, echoing the hearts and minds of fans the world over.
Even among the most hardcore fans of Marvel’s Netflix shows, Iron Fist ranks low. Iron Fist was rushed, and it showed in both writing and fight choreography, as well as crew preparations. But fans saw hope for the character in Defenders with the chemistry between actors Finn Jones and Mike Colter who play Danny Rand, Iron Fist, and Luke Cage, respectively. Still, the character fell short of fan expectations. That is until Danny showed up for an episode of Luke Cage. Finally, fans saw an Iron Fist they could root for. A more grounded character. But what was still missing from the character, and will Iron Fist Season 2 give it to us?
Marvel Studios has long been a big presence at San Diego Comic Con, but in the last several years they’ve had to specialize. You can’t have one, big Marvel panel anymore, you’ve got to have one for the movies, and one for Inhumans, and yes, one for the Netflix series that fall under the general headline of The Defenders. The entire street-level hero team was on call at the con tonight revealing new footage, new details, and making new announcements. (more…)

With the Infinity War set to begin in a couple of years, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has churned out tons of characters. Well, in some fun news Chris Pratt was asked who he would like to see Star-Lord meet up with on the big screen. His answer was none other than the Punisher.
Fans might not have to wait as long as they initially thought for the return of Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal) to Netflix. Bernthal was fantastic as the Punisher in season two of Netflix’s Daredevil. That performance directly led to a spinoff series about the troubled vigilante, but no one expected that new series to get done by 2017. Now thanks to a Reddit posting there is a chance that the Punisher series might make it to Netflix sometime in 2017. (more…)

Bernthal recently talked about the character and what we might expect to see in the series and had some interesting and poignant things to say about Frank Castle and the Punisher. (more…)
While it does little to heal the wounds such conflicts can inflict (we shall all carry the scars of AvP for a long long time,) the March 2016 offering from Loot Crate is a solid one, filled with the usual metric tonne (sorry, there is the Canadian-ness coming out again) of exclusives we’ve grown to expect and love from the world’s leading subscription box service. This article is written in celebration of those moments and the return of the Man Without Fear. So turn off your police scanners, pour yourself a martini with a nasty grey olive, and pull up a chair to count down the 10 best scenes in Daredevil season 2! Fair warning: SPOILERS AHEAD!
