SO….Again… With the Spiderman 4 rumors!!! The Rumor mill is cranking these puppies out faster than anyone can even post them! So here is news via Geektyrant–
We know that casting is currently underway on the Spider-Man 4 production, Rachel McAdams just debunked the rumor that she was looking at being cast as Black Cat. Now a new name has been thrown into the Spider-Man 4 casting mix… Julia Stiles.
According to Ugo she has met with a casting agency up in New York to discuss a role in Sam Raimi’s next Spider-Man film. There is no specific information on what role she is looking to land, but I guess we can assume it will be for the role that everyone is talking about, Black Cat. Stiles is a decent enough actress to join in on the Spider-Man movie universe, but for Black Cat? I think she might work, remember the character is also the daughter of the new guy in charge at the Daily Bugle. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
Thats right. Julia styles can throw her giant hat into the ring with Kirsten Dunst, and Sarah Jessica Parker in the hot body weird face competition!(Family Guy Quote) So I guess that Julia Stiles is as good as any damsel ought to be…But Black Cat? Does she have that sexy charisma?
Yeasterday you may recall all the crazy rumors about Rachel McAdams as the Black Cat in the Spiderman 4. Good, thats still all up in the air, however today it looks like some plot lines have been revealed for the character in the film. HYG reported:
Apparently she is the daughter of the new editor of The Daily Bugle, a man who is also referred to as ‘a viper’ (more on this in a second). She falls in love with Peter Parker, and uncovers his true identity. Her father then dies, and Hardy becomes a threat to Peter Parker (presumably as The Black Cat).
Hey, it may be kind of cryptic, but its a start, right? Sounds alot like Harry turing into The New Green Boblin after his father died, and became a threat to Peter Parker….Wait…Wow, Deja Vu. Thats kinda lame if they recycle that kind of plot line, but hey I’ll keep you informed as news rolls out.
I’m getting sick of “Rumors” to tell you the truth and would like some good, solid fact! Spiderman 4 has more rumors bouncing around then beachballs at a Nickelback concert… (Random movie quote). This one is straight from io9.
Rachel McAdams, sexy AND she can act! Hot of Sci-Fi Smash Action Hit “Time Traveller’s Wife”, it is RUMORED she is in talks to play…………..Black Cat!! YAY! But I digress.
It wasn’t more than a few weeks ago, talkin’ villains that I mentioned the crowding that crippled the beauty of Spiderman 3 and sullied the image of part 2. So with Black Cat in the mix as a partner/love interest/pain in the ass that he has to deal with, I say, ditch saving Mary Jane…Again…And get some hot tail..heheheh…Rachel McAdams is not nailed down yet, and there may still be other auditions. Hopefully this might bring a little more grace to the film, and with Tobey Maguire getting his ass handed to him frequently, I think now that Harry is dead, he needs a partner in crime.
I know where I’ll be X-Mas day! I don’t care how much of an action packed comedy this movie has evolved into, I’m psyched for anything Robert Downey Jr. is involved in. Also on a side note this vehicle is a peculiar change of pace for Guy Ritchie’s usual cool caper films…Anyways, this is a brand spank of a trailer and extends upon the last one, with a martial artist Sherlock, a wonderfully dry Jude Law as his dear Watson, and the crystal clear sparkle in the eyes of the smokin’ Rachel McAdams.
They have taken this film into such a different realm for the Sherlock Holmes franchise and made it extremely cool and fun looking, considering the old bore fest that was the black and white “Hound of the Baskervilles”…
Watch for when they both pull their hats off and strike a pose…Worth the price of your admission by itself.
