The Student Pocket Guide put together a live action video of a match between Ryu and Darth Vader (if you don’t know where they’re from, plz kill yourself). It was filmed using little to no digital effects and with a low budget. But it’s made of so much fuckin’ awesome. They even got a white guy who has had at least some martial arts training; my ninja background allows me to pick up on these things. And their in-camera special effects? Brilliant.
Check out their ass-kicking moves, and their badass black background technique below!
When you go hunting, you sometimes come back empty handed. But nerdy ridiculousness is hiding out there, just waiting to be photographed and turned into a famous Photoshop contest entry on Fark. But who would have thought that wacky nerd products existed in small towns in Indiana or Ohio?
Have you ever had the desire to incorporate your love of video games with your love of females? Have you ever wanted to buy a condom that just looked fun? Have you ever felt the need to witness Ryu’s ball sack? I know I have and that is why I am pleased to introduce you to the Street Fighter Condom. Now, there’s no way to tell if these jimmies are up for sale or are even a licensed product, but who gives a fuck..I’d buy them in the ally’s of NYC if I could. I mean, come on, Ryu banging Chun Li on a condom wrapper makes for some interesting four-play conversation. And if your chick can figure out that most of the flags featured on the wrapper have absolutely nothing to do with the game, well, then she deserves a little bit of Ryu action. The actual image is posted after the jump but be warned: NSFW.
Just like how Nintendo loves to whore the hell out of Mario, Capcom loves doing the same with Mega Man. Recently, Capcom released it’s Comic-Con teaser for upcoming Mega Man Universe. The teaser didn’t really revealed anything other than it’s awesome remixed music. However, it did show Mega Man changing into Ryu (Street Fighter) and Arthur (Ghost ‘n Goblins).
At Comic-Con, Keiji Inafune (creator of Mega Man) explained that Mega Man Universe is a game where everyone portrays what they think Mega Man is. With the guest appearance of other characters, Inafune is hoping to gamers from around the world to get into the “Mega Man Universe.” While the explanation was vague on EXACTLY what the game is, he did tease that they may announce something that fans has been asking for. What it is, who knows, but the first thing that popped in my head was Mega Man Legends 3.
What do ya’ll think? Does Mega Man still does anything for ya’ll? Does Universe interest any of ya’ll? Also, what new game do you think will be announced and what do you want it to be? Tell us after the jump.
Earlier this week, we posted two teaser trailers for the upcoming fan made Street Fighter movie that is titled Street Fighter Legacy. It’s been getting a lot of buzz for how a Street Fighter should be made since its main focus is Ryu and Ken, with a little Akuma thrown in there. Well, now we get a full trailer and this truly puts the Legend of Chun-Li to shame. The trailer once again proves that fans know what fans what while Hollywood just want the movie. If your a Street Fighter fan, do yourself a favor and check out the trailer as I’m sure there will be something on there you’ll appreciate.
Although the original Street Fighter movie was silly, Raúl Juliá as M.Bison made it watchable, oh and Kylie Minogue as Cammy was just a nice plus. Anyways, we all know how video game movies are when Hollywood makes ’em. They add unnecessary story plots so that it can appeal to a wider audience which ends up making the film nothing to do with the video games. Of course, this leads to fans stepping up and doing it right. The above image is from the fan-made Street Fighter film, which is all happening because of one man, Joey Ansah (Bourne Ultimatum). It seems like he gather up a rather nice group of people to make this possible and I’ll let the two teaser trailer and a teaser image show how good this will be, which is all available after the jump. HOLY CRAP! HOLY CRAP! HOLY CRAP! Ok, ok, ok, I’ll stop but holy crap, this is awesome news as finally, after ten long years, we get Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and the trailer does nothing but pump people up for this. The trailer shows old favorites such as Wolverine, Hulk, Iron Man, Ryu, Morrigan, and new comer Chris Redfield, in RE5 gear. Not much else is revealed but there is much speculation that the game may be based on the recent Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars engine that came out for the Wii. So far it seems it’ll come out for both, the Playstation 3 and X Box 360 Enough talk from me, check out the trailer and also, comment what new character you would like to see in this installment of Marvel vs. Capcom.
Can you see what the person photo shopped here? Sho-Ryu-Ken! (Sure-You-Can). Sorry with that lame joke, but up above is a pretty funny and clever photo shopped image then what my joke was. Sure the name is really Hadouken but c’mon people, lets use some imagination on this. I also appriciate the down-forward quarter circle punch image as there are some gamers, mostly new generation gamers, claiming it’s hard to play and they want the dial-a-combo game play. Maybe we do need to send them out to Haboken to get them learning on Street Fighter basics. Comment below if you have seen other signs and it had you remember or thought of something you like.
