Shia LaBoeuf

Ever since Disney snapped up the film rights to Lucasfilm‘s Star Wars and Indiana Jones franchises, it’s a solid Internet bet that Disney wouldn’t let such a huge franchise sit on the shelf gathering dust. The real questions were, Would they make one in time for Harrison Ford to still be able to play the part and if not who would be recast in the iconic role? (I’m looking at you Chris Pratt) Now long time Indiana Jones producer Frank Marshall has laid down the law on recasting, at least for Indiana Jones 5.

It’s official, the world is going to end soon. While The Rapture didn’t happen when people thought it would, it certainly is not far off!

Of course, I am talking about the long-rumored Indiana Jones 5.

I mean honestly, did anyone enjoy Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull? It had its moments when it began, but the whole aliens thing completely ruined it. And Shia LaBeouf, while at the MTV 2011 Movie Awards, announced that George Lucas is hard at work putting the story together.

I talked to [Harrison Ford].┬áHe said he’s staying in the gym, he said he’s heard no word, but he does know that [George Lucas] is out there looking for a MacGuffin. He said he’s staying in the gym, so it means [the movie is] not so far off.

Honestly George, just. Let. It. DIE.
