shield and atcu

Last week on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., the team was hanging out in Columbia, meeting new Inhumans both good and bad. Coulson was trying to track down Malick and end HYDRA forever. Grant-monster was getting more powerful. And both organizations were slowly building up their Inhuman resources for the inevitable war that is to come. This week, ‘The Inside Man’ has the two teams racing each other to gain access to even more Inhuman soldiers, though this time they do it in a (mostly) diplomatic fashion. (more…)

Last week on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., HYDRA was ready to bring some sort of nasty Inhuman beast through the alien portal in an effort to fill the world with death and destruction. After losing Rosalind to a bullet from Ward, Coulson went on the rampage, desperate to kill his nemesis once and for all. Meanwhile, team S.H.I.E.L.D. figured out where HYDRA had set up shop and went after them. The bad guys were using Fitz and Simmons to find out a way to get their weird alien “god” back and S.H.I.E.L.D. needed to stop them before it was too late. And while HYDRA did manage to get their team through the portal, it wasn’t too late for Coulson to jump through as well, ensuring that they’d at least have a little competition to deal with. This week, S.H.I.E.L.D. tries to figure out how to rescue their teammates while still stopping HYDRA from executing their doomsday plan. ‘Maveth’ is the big mid-season finale, although it really doesn’t feel too big by the end of 42 minutes. It’s been a few weeks since Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. last aired, but it’s finally back, and it’s back with a vengeance. When we last left off, S.H.I.E.L.D. had figured out that HYDRA was not only running the ATCU, but also that they were connected with an ancient order that’s been using the monolith to travel to the alien planet for a very long time. In the meanwhile, Ward was taking the initiative and impressing one of HYDRA’s still-living heads, Gideon Malik. This week, there’s a showdown between S.H.I.E.L.D. and HYDRA and the fate of the world is at stake. Check out my review for ‘Closure’ below. (more…)

Last week on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., the truth about Lash came to light. It was Andrew all along and, once the team figured it out, it took everyone in S.H.I.E.L.D. and the ATCU to finally put his ass into cold storage. Meanwhile, Fitz and Simmons were on the trail of a potential new way to get back to the alien world and save Will. It was also revealed that Rosalind Price may be working for HYDRA and that she’s helping them bring Coulson to an untimely end. This week, the two teams go at it as Coulson attempts to decipher the truth regarding exactly which side the ATCU is working for. Scroll on for more info on ‘Many Heads, One Tail’. (more…)

Last week on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., the team was all over the place trying to solve the many problems that S.H.I.E.L.D. agents have to deal with. Daisy and her team were trying to find a lead on Lash by checking out the ATCU. In the process, they discovered that Rosalind Price was putting Inhumans on ice. Fitz continued his search for a way back to the alien planet. And May, with the help of Bobbi, went hunting for little Von Strucker in hopes of finding Ward. What they found instead was some information regarding the potential identity of Lash in his human form. This week, May has to confront her ex and the team will be coming along for the ride. Scroll on for more. (more…)

Last week on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., the story was entirely about Simmons and her journey on the alien planet. Still, we had many things to deal with in the regular world. Lash was running around killing Inhumans and seemed to be doing it for a righteous cause. Coulson had to deal with Rosalind Price and her team in order to make progress in hunting down potentially dangerous Inhumans. And Daisy was caught in the middle of it all, uncovering the mystery of Lash while seeking to protect her fellow super-powered citizens. So what will this week’s episode, ‘Among Us Hide…’, bring? Scroll on to find out. (more…)

Last week on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., the team found themselves in many unpleasant situations. Coulson was forced to toe the line between protecting those with powers and making deals with Rosalind Price to secure S.H.I.E.L.D.’s future. Daisy was trying to help Lincoln but, thanks to the ATCU, was failing miserably. Hunter and May were worming their way into HYDRA. And, last but not least, Simmons revealed a newfound obsession with trying to get back to the alien planet from which she was rescued. This week things get violent as Lash returns to hunt down more Inhumans and Ward continues his resurrection of the mostly defunct HYDRA. Scroll on to read more about ‘Devils You Know’. (more…)

Last week on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., the team came together, dug deep and managed to finally figure out the mystery of the obelisk. This led to Fitz taking the plunge and jumping into the portal to rescue Simmons. While all this was going on, Ward was making moves to bring HYDRA under his control. And the duo of Hunter and May were planning an infiltration into the remaining ranks of HYDRA so that they could cut Ward off at the pass. This time around, ‘A Wanted (Inhu)man’ presents the various team members each trying to get their respective plans underway. (more…)

When we left off last week on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., the fate of S.H.I.E.L.D. and many of its members were in the balance. Skye was living large in some sort of Inhumans luxury resort, complete with Raina as a neighbor and an as-of-yet unknown still alive mommy as one of her guides. Coulson, Hunter and Mike/Deathlok were out on the hunt and trying to find Skye. May was being convinced by Edward James Olmos that helping him bring Coulson in and settle the S.H.I.E.L.D.-on-S.H.I.E.L.D. violence was in her best interest. And Team Fitz-Simmons snuck Fury’s toolbox away from S.H.I.E.L.D. #2, hopefully to have Fitz figure a way to find out what’s inside before anyone else has a chance to. So where will ‘Melinda’ take us? If the previews are any indication, we’ll finally be getting a proper look inside May’s brain. (more…)

Last week on the ever-improving Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., things began to come to a head. Skye’s power still wasn’t under control, so Coulson sent her off to a safe house. Bobbi and Mack’s secret allegiance was finally revealed – a secret S.H.I.E.L.D. organization that claims to be the real deal. Better yet, it’s led by the almighty Edward James Olmos. They don’t like Coulson’s alien blood and think it makes him dangerous. Hunter was captured and they attempted to convert him, but he was having nothing to do with it and ran off to warn Coulson, though The Man and May already have their suspicions. This week, ‘One Door Closes’ offers a little S.H.I.E.L.D.-on-S.H.I.E.L.D. action along with a surprising twist for Skye. Read on for all the S.H.I.E.L.D.-y goodness. (more…)
