Yes, it’s time for yet another blast of marketing from the land of G.I. Joe: Retaliation. This time, however, it’s not just another round of posters or a spam of 20 second clips. In fact, it’s a whole damn 4 minutes of footage from the movie! Check out classic enemies Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow going at it, along with a better look at that cliff fighting scene that’s become so familiar by now.
If you’re looking for a good, swift kick in the G.I. Junk, check it out below:
You gotta love red-shirt ninjas. They are the best of both worlds, the ultimate bad guy with a “Kill Me” sign on his back.
Check out the movie in full and complete form come next week, on March 27th.
And a big thanks to GeekTyrant for pointing this one out to our mostly drunk staff.
This NerdBastard has gotten that “Khannnnnnnnnnn!!!!!” feeling about G.I.Joe: Retaliation.
What’s this “Khannnnnnnnnnn!!!!!” feeling you speak of?
That’s the deep in your gut feeling that the second movie of the franchise is going to be way better than the first. Just look at this trailer. When the Hollywood powers that be announced a second G.I.Joe movie we all had some of the same thoughts:
Oh hell, not another one.
Pissing on my childhood once wasn’t enough . . .
What the hell kind of mess is this gonna be.
This trailer should set all those fears aside. This NerdBastard doesn’t know where to start with all the awesomeness that is in this trailer. Watch it and tell your fellow NerdBastards what you think.
Will it be the best in a long line of G.I.Joe movies?
NerdBastards has got some new stills from G.I.Joe:Retaliation due in theaters June 29th. Let’s start out with:
G.I.Joe bringing the sexy time, she can rock the ball room as well as the barracks room. (Damn. I felt kinda greasy just writing that.) Now let’s look at two of my favorite Joes, Snake Eyes and Roadblock:
If that wasn’t enough we’ve also got a vehicle shot. Not sure who’s in it but all that white makes me think Storm Shadow. What do you think?
Jon M. Chu directs G.I.Joe:Retaliation, which stars Channing Tatum, Ray Park, Dwayne Johnson, Bruce Willis, Elodie Yung, RZA, DJ Cotrona, Adrianne Palicki, Ray Stevenson, Joseph Mazzello, Walton Goggins and DeRay Davis.
The first full trailer for G.I.Joe: Retaliation has hit the net and it looks . . .
All the bells and whistles that belong in a good G.I.Joe story are there:
Snake Eyes – Check!
RoadBlock – Check!
Scarlet – Check!
Jinx – Check!
Duke – Check!
Explosions, Guns, Ninjas – Check!
Cobra doing the nasty stuff – Check!
That is the WHITE HOUSE flying COBRA flags up there. The Rock playing Roadblock is genius. He knows how to deliver the action one liners that we’ll all howl with laughter at. Not to mention that Bruce Willis, the high king of the snarky action hero is the man G.I.Joe turns to when the going gets tough. When I saw the 20 second cut of this trailer the other day I was not impressed. This trailer will put my ass in the theater seat June 29th, 2012.
Let your fellow NerdBastards know what you think about this trailer and the G.I. Joe movie franchise as it stands now.
The Interwebz is a great place for artists to share their nerdy work, even though the majority of the time it’s a bunch of fuckin’ weird shit like Jesus pr0n or something. There is a ton of awesome shit to check out every day but we’re fuckin’ lazy bastards so it just gets rounded up once a week to keep your reward centers happy. This week, I bring to you another stock pile of art from the other side of the fuckin’ world (as I melt in the heat)!
It’s an Angry Bird dressed up as Batman! Or it’s an Angry Bat. Whatever. But this dude’s come up with a bunch of superhero inspired Angry Birds and perhaps it’s because I’m an Angry Birds addict that I find them all supremely amusing. Check out the website for more!
Mark Cheng is a long timeGI Joe fan that likes to make movies. His current project is Operation Red Retrieval. This teaser trailer is pretty damn good. I got chills when Beach Head yelled, “Yo Joe!” at the end. Whoops, probably spoiled that little moment for you there. Well, suck it up soldier! GI Joe ain’t for some pantie waisted, spoiler crying, girly man! Snap to attention and check it out Joe fans!
Thank you BUDK again for GI Joe’s swords of Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow. Taking pre-orders now, you can be the first one on your block that can choose between the good the bad and the ugly… They come included with scabbards, display stands and individually serial numbered for psycho collectors(such as myself).
