Nothing can remain secret in the entertainment industry anymore. Seems more and more people are paying attention to trademark registrations at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Seems Blizzard Entertainment has registered a “goods and service” trademark for a popular game that could send fans into a frenzy. For years fans have clamored for Blizzard to get into making their own CGI animation. Love or hate the games, there’s no denying that their CGI is top-notch and their shorts and trailers are nothing short of jaw-dropping in terms of quality and storytelling. But will this next endeavor endear fans or ruffle feathers?
Every day the internet produces an astounding amount of goodies and gems. Most hilarious, some amusing, but all worth at least a few seconds of your time. Monday through Friday we’ll be bringing you our inbox leftovers, our forgotten bookmarks, the nerdy bits that simply slipped through the cracks. ABOVE: I, for one, always thought E.T. was insanely creepy looking. That little, long necked, alien bastard haunted many of my dreams. Painting him on a child’s face doesn’t make him any less horrifying, either. It makes him worse! Fears aside, I have to commend the artistry fro Christy Lewis of Daizy Design Face Painting. Truly, she makes the most astonishing face paints. You see the character and forget there’s a human face behind it. Wow! [FashionablyGeek]
The guys from Simple Pickup tried their luck at winning over chicks’ phone numbers by using StarCraft quotes as pick up lines. Y’all can imagine just how hilarious this could be. So, how successful were they? Did they meet any girls who knew what they were talking about? Check out the video for yourself and see!
StarCraft II is upon us and if you don’t know your Kerrigans from your Zurglings IGN decided to make this 5-minute video that breaks down the whole Starcraft story in digestible bits. It does a great job summing up the story and is quite hilarious. I’m not gonna like, I had no idea the story got this complicated. I’m obviously not a hard-core fan.
You know, I really don’t like playing against young gamers (16 years and younger) on any online game. They either accuse me of cheating or just call me some name that either is gay or some racial term. Seems like College Humor got that typical stereotype of todays young jackass gamers and how they can ruin a great game, such as Starcraft all in this video. With Starcraft 2 set to release next month (about FREAKIN’ TIME), maybe some of you veteran gamers should get ready to deal with their annoyance and lay the smack down on these annoying assholes.
