The Guardians of The Galaxy ending revealed that Starlord’s ability to hold the Infinity Stone for extended period of time (and not disintegrate) was due to his otherworldly DNA –  imparted to him from his absentee space Daddy. Teasing a mysterious unknown father figure from space seemed to set-up a significant plot point for Guardians of the Galaxy 2. While director James Gun has said that revelation will be addressed, it won’t be as significantly important as it was assumed to be. It’s not going to be a big secret. The real focal point is what the relationship is to that character. (more…)

Following their visit to Christopher’s hometown in Boston last month, Chris Evans (Captain America) and Chris Pratt (Star-Lord) today visited Seattle Children’s Hospital as part of their Super Bowl bet.

The whole thing started on Twitter in January when Evans noted that their two home teams were set to battle it out in the Super Bowl. After Pratt returned the smack talk, Evans challenged him to a bet: The loser would appear in costume at a local children’s hospital, wearing the winning team’s jersey.

Evans actually won their bet with the New England Patriots winning the Super Bow, but the actors decided to be superheroes in real life as well and visit both!

Last month, Pratt donned his Guardians of the Galaxy‘s Star-Lord gear with Evans appearing in street clothes. Today, Evans appeared as Captain America with Pratt sporting a Guardians of the Galaxy cap.  (more…)

There are train wreck celebrities, and then there are celebrities who get it. Chris Pratt is certainly positioning himself to be one of those celebrities who get it. Those that handle their fame and their interactions with fans in such a way that only make us love them more. It must have been a magical evening for those kids. (more…)

Right off the bat, I’m going to say that this is fantastic. We’ve seen other Guardians of the Galaxy trailers before, and they’ve all been cool enough to make us jump on board. This one in particular has us not only jumping on the ship but also holding guns to the heads of usurpers out to make us stop. Nothing can make us stop. Not the true fans. Pirate this, b*tch! We are in it for the long haul ladies and gentlemen, and for once in our lives let us smell what the Captain is cooking and just ride along like we’re supposed to.  Am I saying we should just love what Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is doing here? Yes. Love it immediately. On top of the fact that director James Gunn and Marvel are premiering finished footage in finished screenings to the first-come-first-served group, we have this new piece all set to go. And why? They didn’t need to do it. Call it fan service, plain and simple. Just say Yes Please and relax your hand. (more…)

So, Marvel has found it’s Peter Quill, but if I tell you who it is in these first few sentences, you will totally see the reveal in the excerpt on the front page of the site or on our Facebook page and then you won’t click the article. We want you to click our articles. We need you to click our articles, so really, this part is just filler because I will be damned if I’m going to give you this information for free without extracting a page hit out of you! (more…)
