When it comes to book adaptations, HBO’s Game of Thrones is one of the best. The first season was basically flawless, and even in the second and now third season the changes from the source material have been minimal. More often than not any changes the show employ are for the audiences’ benefit, usually by condensing characters and sometimes plots. And I mean, hey, if you wanted the full, rich experience that is George R.R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire, you’d have read or are reading the books.

As the third season moves along there’s only going to be more and more of those condensed characters and plots. We already mentioned a fan favorite, Strong Belwas, won’t be appearing due to Barristan Semly’s reappearance story line getting condensed, and now with these new episode synopses from Spoiler TV hint at more of the same.

Spoilers for the television series as well as the books below the cut, but, I’m sure you already put that together.

Can you believe a new season – well, half season, really –  of Doctor Who is nearly upon us!? In only two weeks time we’ll have already seen the newest episode,  “The Bells of St. John” premiering March 30th at 9pm EST on BBC America, and we’ll have seen The Doctor in action with his newest companion, Clara Oswin Oswald. For real this time, no more of that let’s introduce and kill her in one episode. At least I hope so.

Check out the latest trailer for Doctor Who Series 7 Part 2, or Season 7B, below. It’s full of new footage featuring some excellent looks at both the new Ice Warriors and Cybermen, plus more from Miss Jenna-Louise Coleman.

But wait, there’s more! In addition to this latest trailer we’ve got four new posters for the four first episodes of Series 7B and their synopses. Check ’em out below the cut!
