When she’s not breaking up with Hollywood heartthrobs and writing songs about it, Taylor Swift is actually a pretty fun chick, and maybe even a tad nerdy as well. The world renowned songstress was spotted wearing a Deadpool costume for Halloween. Not just any Deadpool costume. Like, she literally wore Deadpool’s costume – as in Ryan Reynold‘s actual costume from the movie. (more…)
Producer Simon Kinberg, tweeted this photo today featuring Pop Music Mega Star Taylor Swift hanging out with X-Men: Apocalypsestars James McAvoy (Professor X) and Sophie Turner (Jean Grey). Look at McAvoy’s head shine, he must have just touched up that chrome dome with a razor that morning. Now this could just be an on set visit from a celebrity X-Men fan, but could this be something much more? (more…)
The new music video for one of Taylor Swift‘s contributions to The Hunger Games was premiered by MTV yesterday. “Safe and Sound” is a collaboration between Swift and The Civil Wars (Joy Williams and John Paul White). It’s definitely an interesting video — it’s very cold and almost wintery at a time where a lot of people are goddamn sick of winter, and I’m sure she’s super safe and sound in that forest by her lonesome. I can’t help but think that she looks like an elf, too. Don’t know what I think of the song just yet, but I’m biased because I’m generally not a fan of hers… And it kinda hurts to listen to.
We also have the full track listing for the official soundtrack for The Hunger Games, which will be available on March 20, 2012, two days before the movie is released. Check that out after the jump!
I don’t watch SNL often but when I do I prefer Dos Equis. Wait…I think I just confused a long running sketch comedy show with my favorite alcoholic beverage. Though SNL’s golden years are behind us the show does churn out a few gems every now and then. You might be surprised that Andy Samberg/ Lonely Island is not responsible for this weeks, crowd pleasing Digital Short. Replace sparkling vampires with Frankenstein monsters, who accidentally choke people and what do you get? Well ’Firelight’ of course, a shockingly accurate parody of “Twilight”. Taylor Swift as Kristen Stewart is worth the watch alone. She is fucking spot on! Plus the bunsen burner fearing franks are pretty hilarious too.
If this was SNL’s next feature length movie I would watch it repeatedly. Well played boys, well played!
(Thanks to Zach Lawrence for being the last person left watching SNL, for the tip)
