Every day the internet produces an astounding amount of goodies and gems. Most hilarious, some amusing, but all worth at least a few seconds of your time. We here at Nerd Bastards try to bring you the best bits of news and nerdery the webz has to offer, with a bit of snark thrown in. But sometimes not everything makes the cut. Monday through Friday we’ll be bringing you our inbox leftovers, our forgotten bookmarks, the nerdy bits that simply slipped through the cracks. You can submit items to Nerdy Bits by emailing us at

Clearly there’s some photoshop trickery involved, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t an excellent and unexpected cosplay of Izabel from Saga. Created by The Inkblog Blunder. [The Mary Sue]

The Fine Brothers are the kings of countdown videos. You’ve probably seen their other work we’ve feature on the site, like 7 Harry Potter Movies in 7 Minutes or Doctor Who: 47 Years in 6 Minutes. Today they bring us another sweet video, this one spoiling 50 horror movies in four minutes.

Obviously, don’t watch this video if you abhor spoilers, but y’know, a lot of these flicks are old, it’s a crime you haven’t seen them already.

Watch below as The Fine Brothers present 50 More Horror Spoilers in 4 Minutes.

If you don’t see your favorite horror film in the mix they probably covered it last year in this video, 100 Horror Movie Spoilers in 5 Minutes.

The epic conclusion of the Harry Potter film saga is upon us. Tomorrow, as posters and trailers continue to remind us, it all ends. But you should only watch an ending once you’ve been caught up on the story thus far, like, “Last time at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry” or “Earlier on, Harry, Ron, and Hermione’s camping trip of doom.” Enter The Fine Bros. Already well known for their recap of 47 years of Doctor Who history, The Fine Bros. are reviewing, recapping and reliving the first seven Harry Potter movies in under seven minutes. Just in case your planned Harry Potter movies marathon never happened, like mine. Oops.

Note, it’s a movie recap, not a recap of the books. Had they tried to review novels it would have taken much longer than seven minutes and probably have left you with less questions. What can I say, the films have countless plot holes which are easily explained once you read the books. So, so no bitchin’, pick up the damn books! If you still have issues with the series’ implausibility, I don’t know what to tell you, maybe I’ll shit on a beloved child hood story of yours. Haters.

Anyway, check out The Fine Bros. 7 Harry Potter Movies in 7 Minutes. And also make sure you check out our Nerd Bastards review of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part Deux.
