Steven Colbert can get just about anyone he wants on his show The Colbert Report, even Republicans that know Colbert will skewer them with his rapier like wit. Now Colbert has landed the biggest interview of his life, or at least the biggest interviewee, Smaug The Stupendous, The Unassessably Wealthy, that worm that makes Dwarves squirm. The Hobbit: Battle of the Five Armies
So if you were at San Diego Comic Con this weekend, you’ve probably already seen this, but for the rest of us the trailer for The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies is now online. As director Peter Jackson promised on the weekend, this one looks to be much darker than the previous installments of the The Hobbit, that and there’s a ton of action coming in the film because if there’s five armies in the title then it better be one good, big fight. Surely by now those of you back home have heard about the insanely long line for San Diego Comic-Con‘s Hall H. It began forming about mid-afternoon yesterday and soon stretched three miles long (according to the convention gossips, that is).
