The Hunger Games Mockingly Part 2

The film in the running for longest-named movie ever, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2, has been out in theaters for a few weeks now, and while it has obviously made money and put a cap on the cinematic version of Suzanne Collins’ novelized story, lots of folks who have seen it are finding more and more to dislike about it.  We’re certainly not saying that it’s a bad film, but it does have its bad moments; here, for your reading pleasure, are ten of the most heinous.

Two new television clips have been released for the last installment of The Hunger Games franchise, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2. Final Battle and Her Story give a couple of new looks at what is coming at us on the November 4th release date. I’m looking forward to the final film and it should hold the number one spot until Star Wars: The Force Awakens starts breaking all those box office records.


Katniss and co. are back, and reminding us that their rebellion is not over yet. The official teaser site for the The Hunger Games franchise has released a new image promoting the newest and final installment of the series, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2. The photo features Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) garbed in red from neck to toe, with her ever-present quiver of arrows across her back. She’s sitting in President Snow’s chair in the Capitol, harkening back to earlier teasers featuring Peeta and Snow himself in the same chair. Accompanying the picture is text that reads “The Capitol Must Fall So We May Be Free.” (more…)
