The Making of Harry Potter

Harry Potter Cast Reflects in One Word…

Empire Magazine put together a huge Harry Potter themed issue and decide that there was one burning question they needed the cast to answer.

Sum up your Harry Potter acting experience in one word.

Empire filmed the answers and put together this little video. Take a look and let NerdBastards know which word was your favorite in the comments below. If you had to sum up your Harry Potter viewing experience over the last ten years what would that word be?

Warner Bros.  anounced it’s new three hour “The Making of Harry Potter” walking tour in Leavesden England today. What the hell? The last tour that said it lasted three hours was on a little boat called the “Minnow.” We all know how that turned out.

Just sit right back and you’ll hear a tale
a tale of a fateful trip,
that started on this foggy street,
behind a guy named Chip.
The guide was a mighty winded man,
his tour banter, brave and sure,
fifty geeky tourists walked that day,
for a three hour tour,
a three hour tour,

The weather started getting rough,
the tiny tour got sloshed.
If not for the courage of the fearless guide
the Potters would be lost.
The Potters would be lost.

The tour aground on the floor of this uncharted movie set
with Oliver
the Tour Guide too.
A millionaire and his wife.
a movie star.

Tickets go on sale later this year. Potter fans will be able to walk onto sets including headmaster Dumbledore’s office and the 120ft long Great Hall featuring “the tables and benches used in the films”. I’m imagining a lot of tired folks at the hour mark, lots of tired nosiey, smelly kids dragging their parents onward, ever onward. It’s a pretty good deal for Leavesden. They are getting 25,000 sq ft of soundstages, making it the largest studio production facilities in Europe. $161 million dollar make over for the studio which will bring lots of local work to the area.

I don’t know though, as great as the news is for Harry Potter fans there’s still the Universal Studio attraction that is a lot closer. You’d have to be a pretty hardcore fan to make the trip overseas just for that tour. Oi! What am I saying, HP fans have already got their bags packed. They’re such nerds.
