Got any summer plans? How about a trip to exciting New York City where along with any number of tourist attractions, you can now walk the halls of S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters, or Tony Stark’s workshop. It’s a new exhibit at the Discovery Center in Times Square called Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N. and it collects sets, props, costumes and other bric-à-brac from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as well as some interesting scientific facts that takes you into the mechanics of super-powers. Thousands of people gather in New York City’s Time Square every year for the New Year’s celebrations every December 31, but joining Ryan Seacrest and a cavalcade of celebrity entertainers at the “crossroads of the world” this year is a very special guest in the form of your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. He’s not there to celebrate though, Spidey will be there to do some promotion for his upcoming new film, The Amazing Spider-Man 2. (more…)
