Warm up your best Batman Na-na-na-na-na-na voice because that Lego Batman spinoff movie isn’t just going to feature The Lego Movie Batman voiced by Will Arnett that everyone went head over heals for. Phil Lord and Chris Miller, the two in charge of the Batman Lego spinoff have big plans for our favorite brick caped crusader. How big?

Very big according to some comments the pair made while talking with Empire. Miller started the ball rolling with this:

Rest assured that every era of Batman filmmaking will be acknowledged. There have been so many interpretations of Batman and there is so much to play with there. There are 40 versions of his origin story alone.

Does that mean that Miller and Lord will be trying to get those actors that played Batman on the big screen to reprise their Batman Lego figures? That would be incredible to see and shouldn’t be that hard to get done. Voice work can be scheduled around other projects very easily, and be done just about anywhere with a decent recording studio. Imagine, Adam West, Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer, George Clooney, and all the rest popping in to voice their own Lego Batman along with Will Arnett. Mind blowing. If Adam West makes an appearance then you know they’ll have to get Burt Ward in there too.

For those of you wondering if the Lego movies would be tied together in a Lego-matic Universe, Miller clears up any confusion on that very subject:

The thing is about these movies is that each of them have their own tone and their own voice. We’re doing this Ninjago one with Charlie Bean, we’re working on the Batman one, and each one of them feels like its own movie, but obviously they all exist in the universe that the Lego movie existed in, and so finding that balance has been part of the trick.

Lord chimed in and said:

It’s like we started with The Avengers and now we’re going to spin off and explore the different worlds, then come back.

What do you want to see in the Lego Batman Movie? This might be one of those few magical superhero movies that won’t suffer from too many villains in the movie curse. In this case, bring on all the villains. Imagine all the Batmen fighting all the villains in one big climactic scene of Justice and Mayhem!
