With Scott Pilgrim vs. The World done and released in theaters, which I’m hoping most of you went out to see but I can’t force you to see it since I’m just a fat nerd who writes on the internet, it seems that Edgar Wright (Shaun of the Dead, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World) is ready to put all his focus on the Ant-Man film. Wright did an interview with Vanity Fair saying that he will be doing a second draft to the script and teased that the film will  be different from other “shrinking man” flicks and that it’ll be much cooler than most of us think it will. He went on to say that his Ant-Man will be a “high-tech spy heist film.”

With that said, I like the idea of a heist film based around the Ant-Man character and I’m sure that would add some good action for folks to enjoy. Also, I enjoy most of Wrights film so I got a good feeling that I’ll enjoy this film either way. What about you guys? Any of you guys still excited about the film? Or has all the hope you have the film has slowly gone away?
